Introduction
This Japanese anime story takes place in Japan at a time where robots known as Persocons exist. These Persocons are walking computers that take the shape of humans and they are able to perform many tasks for their owner. They are incredibly expensive, but if a student saved up enough money he might be able to buy a little one. A boy named Motosuwa Hideki who is a prep student for college working part-time at a bar desperately wants to buy a one of these expensive robotic companions. However, being broke he can't afford one. With pure luck one night, he finds a Persocon in the garbage outside of the store. Being an oppurtunistic guy, he takes her! The rest of the manga describes his trials and joys with the little Persocon he names Chii.
